Friction Products S.A. has been supplying the South African market and beyond for the past 29 years. We were established in 1986 and are continuing to grow in the specialised friction market. The company consists of 2 directors namely Mr Edward Dyer and Mr Noel Dyer. Our premises are situated in Alrode, Alberton in the Johannesburg area, we have occupied these premises for over 25 years.

Friction Products S.A. are distributors of disc brake pads for earthmoving, industrial and mining machinery. Our products include non-asbestos woven brake lining, sintered clutch buttons, truck & trailer brake linings and gear tooth clutch plates. We also specialize in any type of friction discs, friction sheeting, woven clutch facings and all special application friction materials.
Our Principles / Standards
Our brake pads are manufactured under strict quality guidelines to ensure high consistent quality at all times. Our disc pads are SABS Frest and Dynamometer tested for compliance to Government regulations. Our off-road and commercial disc brake pads have been in use for more than 23 years.
Our non-asbestos woven lining is an imported product and is manufactured in an ISO 9001-2000 certified factory. Predator brand woven brake lining is most commonly found in the U.S.A.,Spain & Germany and will now be available in South Africa.
 Target Markets
Our target markets include Brake & Clutch bonders and distributors, the building and construction industry, railway sectors (including Transnet). We also specialize in Gear tooth clutches for the brick manufacturing companies, milling and boring machines etc.
Our Woven Lining is supplied to many different sectors of the industry including brake & clutch companies, ship chandlers, precurement offices and this product is one of our biggest exports to African countries.
